START MARKETING MEETING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Marketing Matrix Ltd runs START Marketing Meeting group training and mentoring sessions designed to offer support, inspiration and expert guidance for small businesses that need to become confident about their marketing. Meetings are delivered at The Marketing Matrix premises at Rosewells Boathouse, Walton Marina, Walton-on-Thames KT12 1QW.
Unless expressly stated by the Company in writing all START Marketing Meeting bookings are accepted on the following Terms and Conditions.
“Company” means The Marketing Matrix Ltd
“Client” means any person making a booking with the Company
“Booking” means any confirmed reservation made with the Company by whatever means.
These Conditions are to the exclusion of any other contractual terms and conditions and no contractual terms contained in any document sent by the client shall be of any effect with respect to the contract unless expressly accepted by the company in writing. These conditions may not be varied or waived except with the express written agreement of the Company.
- Price, Payment and Cancellation Policy
All prices are as stated and are inclusive of VAT which is charged at the current rate.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment for each course is due at the time of booking using PayPal via our Acuity booking system.
Cancellations or postponements of START Marketing Meeting bookings:
i) If you need to cancel or postpone, please let us know as soon as possible. Bookings can be cancelled or postponed by e-mail, phone or in writing. If you cancel or postpone more than 14 days prior to the date of the course, we will charge an administration fee of 10% of course cost per person, per place cancelled or postponed.
ii) Cancellations made via e-mail, phone or in writing less than 14 days prior to the date of the course are payable in full.
iii) Substitutes may be made at any time without penalty – please inform The Marketing Matrix of any changes as soon as possible.
iii) Provision of service: We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, alter or delay any booking. We will refund payment in full if we cancel a session.
- Delegates with Disabilities and Special needs
Please advise us if you have special or additional needs. The Company cannot accept responsibility for such delegates unless it has stated in writing that it is able to accommodate those needs.
- Changes to Scheduled courses
(a) Please note that for scheduled courses we will aim to deliver content on topics specified in each scheduled outline. It is your responsibility to determine that each course is the correct level for you. We reserve the right to change speakers or content due to unforeseen circumstances.
(b) In the case where you are the only delegate booked on a scheduled course, we reserve the right to give you the option to be transferred to our next available course.
If as a result of contact made during their business with the Company, a client subsequently and within one year of the last booking, recruits a member of the Company’s staff whether then employed by the Company or not, a compensation fee of 50% of the final annual salary of that member of staff is payable to the Company.
- Intellectual Property
All Materials provided by The Marketing Matrix and the copyright, design rights and trademarks therein remain the property of the Company.
- Your Privacy
The Marketing Matrix is a data controller and processor registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and abides by the principles of the Data Protection Act and Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
- Force Majeure
Neither Party to this Agreement shall be liable where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that Party. Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, Internet Service Provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the Party in question.
9. Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute between the Parties relating to this Agreement shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Complaints Procedure
In the unlikely event that you experience a problem with the service provided by The Marketing Matrix Ltd, please raise the matter with us directly, clearly outlining the grounds for complaint.
The Company will investigate the matter in question with a view to resolving the situation to your complete satisfaction.
